Hi there :)

I found your page from the RMIT Games club page thingo.

I'm thinking of applying for Digital Art @ RMIT next year, but I want to make sure it's what I'm looking for.

Since you've done (or are still doing) a games course at RMIT, I was just wondering if you could tell me your thoughts and opinions. What's the course like? What do you guys do in class, for projects, group stuff, etc? Was the course what you had expected it to be? What could I expect from it? Is it worth giving it three years?

I like your work, especially the bridge piece :) Keep it up.
I really want to develop my skills (and maybe one day work on a game as an artist or something, lol), so I'm not sure if a games course would be the best choice, or a visual art/fine art course specializing in drawing/painting.

So yeah, any help you could give would be of great use :)
Thanks!

Hey sup, yeah I'm in my final year now. Basic lowdown, first year highlight, work in group Artist/Designers/Programmers to make mods for game. Second year learn 3D software. Third year work in group again, very much like first year but much more advanced.

3 years might be too much for u, judging from your work you're alrdy competent in Photoshop/Painter; can prob get credit for ur Adv. Dip subjects and skip all of first year apart from the Group subjects.

If you want more detailed explainations of subjects etc, come in on Open Day August 10th, i'll be in from 12-4, we could have a chat.

It's important to learn the basics, before you can master complexity.
